Made to Order
Made to Order
Most Geranium dresses are made after your order is confirmed rather than taken from mass-produced ready-to-ship stock.
This allows each order to be prepared according to the selected design, size, color and available customization options.
Made one order at a time, for the occasion ahead.
What Does Made to Order Mean?
Made to Order means that your dress generally enters production after your order details have been received and confirmed.
Instead of preparing large quantities of every design, size and color in advance, we produce most dresses according to actual customer orders.
Your Selected Style
Production begins with the specific dress design selected on the product page.
Your Size
The dress is prepared according to the selected standard size or, where available, confirmed Custom Size measurements.
Your Color
The selected available color is considered when the appropriate fabric and materials are prepared for production.
Why We Choose Made-to-Order Production
Bridal and occasion dresses are not everyday clothing. They often involve structured bodices, layered skirts, lace, appliqués, specialty fabrics and hand-finished details.
They are also purchased for individual events, in different sizes, colors and styles.
Made-to-order production allows us to prepare each dress around the actual order rather than assuming that every customer needs the same combination in advance.
More About the Dress Ordered.
Style, sizing, materials and finishing come together after the order is confirmed.
What Made to Order Allows Us to Do
Offer More Sizing Options
Standard Adult and Kids sizes can be supported alongside Custom Size on eligible designs.
Prepare the Ordered Color
Different dresses may be available in multiple bridal, formal or occasion colors depending on fabric and design.
Review Important Details
Custom measurements or unusual order details can be reviewed before production proceeds.
Focus on Individual Construction
Each order moves through the construction and finishing stages required by its particular design.
Our Made-to-Order Process
Depending on the design, a Geranium dress may move through the following production stages.
Before Production Begins
Before a dress moves into production, we need the information required for that specific order.
- The selected style must be confirmed.
- The selected standard size or required Custom Size measurements must be received.
- The selected color must be clear and available for the design.
- Any approved customization details must be confirmed.
- If we identify information that needs clarification, we may contact the customer before cutting or production begins.
Made to Order vs. Custom Size
These two terms are related, but they do not mean the same thing.
| Made to Order | Custom Size | |
|---|---|---|
| What it means | The dress is produced after the order is confirmed. | The dress is produced using body measurements submitted for the individual customer. |
| Standard size possible? | Yes. A made-to-order dress can be ordered in a standard size. | No standard size is selected as the main sizing basis. |
| Personal measurements required? | Not normally for standard-size orders. | Yes. Required measurements must be provided. |
| Available on every dress? | Most Geranium dresses are made to order. | Custom Size is available only on eligible products. |
| Design changes included? | No. | No. Custom Size refers to sizing, not automatic design changes. |
Measurements Can Be Reviewed Before Production
For Custom Size orders, the measurements submitted may be reviewed for consistency before production begins.
If a measurement appears unusual compared with the other information provided, we may contact you to confirm it before pattern preparation or fabric cutting.
This review is intended to identify possible input errors before production, while accurate measurement submission remains the customer's responsibility.
Details After.
Lace, appliqués, pearls, beading and finishing details are added according to the requirements of each design.
Not Every Dress Is Made the Same Way
A minimalist satin gown and a heavily embellished ball gown require very different amounts of construction and finishing.
Depending on the style, production may involve structured bodices, multiple layers of tulle, lace appliqué placement, hand beading, detachable elements or other detailed work.
This is why production time can vary from one design to another.
How Long Does Made-to-Order Production Take?
Production time varies according to the individual dress, construction, fabric, embellishment and customization requirements.
The individual product page should be used for the most relevant production estimate when a specific range is shown.
Quality Checked Before Your Dress Leaves Us
Construction Review
Key construction and finishing details are checked before the dress is prepared for shipment.
