Geranium Return & Refund Policy

At Geranium, we take pride in the craftsmanship of our made-to-order gowns. Because each dress is individually handcrafted for you, our return policy is designed to balance your satisfaction with the unique nature of our production.

1. The 14-Day Right of Withdrawal (Standard Sizes Only)

In accordance with EU consumer protection laws, customers in the European Union have the right to withdraw from their purchase within 14 days of receiving the goods.

  • Applicability: This only applies to Standard Size dresses (e.g., US 2, US 4, etc.) that have not been modified.
  • Condition: The item must be in its original condition—unworn, unwashed, unaltered, and with all original tags and packaging intact. We cannot accept items with makeup stains, perfume scents, or any signs of wear.
2. Made-to-Order & Custom Size Exception (CRUCIAL)

Please note that according to Article 16(c) of the EU Directive 2011/83/EU, the right of withdrawal does not apply to goods made to the consumer's specifications or clearly personalized.

  • Custom Sized Dresses: If you ordered a dress with custom measurements, it is considered a personalized item and is Final Sale. It cannot be returned or exchanged unless there is a significant manufacturing defect.Made-to-Order
  • Standard Sizes: While we allow returns for standard sizes, please be aware that these are still handcrafted upon order to reduce waste. We encourage mindful shopping to support our sustainability efforts.
3. Return Shipping & Costs
  • Responsibility: Unless the item is defective or the wrong item was sent, the customer is responsible for the cost of return shipping.
  • Location: Please be advised that our specialized atelier is located in China. Returns must be shipped back to our central quality control center in China. We recommend using a trackable shipping service, as we cannot guarantee receipt of your returned item.
  • Customs/Duties: Any import duties or taxes incurred during the return process are the responsibility of the customer.
4. Faulty or Damaged Items

If you receive a dress that is damaged or has a manufacturing defect, please contact us within 48 hours of delivery:

  • Provide your order number and clear photos/videos of the defect.
  • Once the defect is verified, we will offer a full refund, a free replacement, or a partial refund if you choose to keep the item and have it repaired locally.
5. Sizing Discrepancies

Since all dresses are handmade, slight variations (1-3 cm) from the size chart are normal.

  • Structural Allowance: We build most of our gowns with extra fabric in the seams to allow for minor professional tailoring.
  • Geranium is not responsible for local tailoring costs. We strongly recommend double-checking your measurements with our guide before ordering.
6. Refund Process

Once your return is received and inspected, we will notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. Approved refunds will be processed back to your original payment method within 10-14 business days.
